Will and Hannah met in 2011 while working as personal trainers in Boston, MA. Over many cups of coffee (and while resting between deadlift sets), they began hatching the ideas that would ultimately lead to The Fitness Alchemists.
Hannah strikes a delicate balance between never taking things too seriously (read: you'll giggle a lot during each session) and bringing great seriousness of purpose to the work (read: anatomy nerdery lurks below the surface at all times). Though Pilates was the gateway-drug for her exploration into fitness coaching, it has led her to deepen her study to include certifications in kettle bells, Functional Range Conditioning (FRC), TRX, pre/post natal fitness, and nutrition coaching.
Will brings an "elusive combination of high EQ [emotional intelligence} and deep knowledge" to his daily interactions with clients. His background includes industry-leading certifications in nutrition and strength & conditioning, as well as over 5,000 hours of hands-on coaching. He takes pleasure in his work with people from all backgrounds, including competitive athletes, corporate executives, public-school teachers, and people with Parkinson's disease to name just a few.
